Cover Letter

My objective, across all industries and above all else, is to join a group of passionate individuals, who collectively form a committed team, with a belief in our ability to help change the world. I want to focus on inspiring humanity to make a difference, bring awareness to global issues, strengthen our overall impact, reduce our footprint, all while motivating and empowering individuals to be the best versions of themselves that they can be.

In the workplace, I know team work makes the dream work, therefore I always bring a positive, flexible attitude to any group setting. I am organized (big Virgo energy), focused, self-motivated, and independent, but I have been fortunate enough to learn first-hand that collaboration with creative, energetic people is the key to magnifying success. I want to be a part of something I believe in, involved with people who have the same ambition to drive ideas forward and get things done, in a place where I feel supported by a group of like-minded peers who are also committed to making a difference. In exchange, I can offer an optimistic outlook, an attention to detail, a willingness to go the extra mile to get our goal complete, all accompanied by a bona fide smile anywhere I go, as there is nothing better than doing what you love to do. Productivity is higher where passion flows, and this passion and drive to do better, is mine to share.

I must say, I feel extremely lucky. I have been able to explore many facets of my passions, which should become evident as you explore this resume. I began in teaching, which took me around the world and back again. I was fortunate enough to teach across all grade levels, students pre-K through high school, and I have been able to travel across the globe, from Asia, to Europe, North America to South America–and everywhere on this planet I have found something to be true: where there is technology there is power, and with the right kind of power we are able to help change this world for the better.

What used to take hours with a trip to library, or days and weeks to transmit information across the world, can now be done within seconds. While your small business used to be limited to you neighborhood, you can now reach a global audience. The ability to become an entrepreneur, or self-sufficient artist is as easy as setting up a website with a few clicks. We have the world at our fingertips, information in the palm of our hands, and an entire generation of informed, innovative thinkers who understand what’s happening at a seemingly intuitive level. Deep down, I believe we all innately want to do good–for ourselves, our loved ones, and for the world–and in my opinion, technology is the bridge. From global consumers to world-wide connection, it’s all possible in this digital age.

With that, it is more important now than ever to be a more self-aware, self-reliant, kind, and mindful participant in the world, (including the digital world) as each individual is wielding the power to inspire others to do the same. Because, one thing more powerful than technology, is Knowledge, and humans have more opportunity to seek and spread knowledge than ever before. If information can be shared amongst billions of people across a world wide web, imagine what we could accomplish given some focus, the right tools, direction, motivation and dedication. We have infinite potential to make positive change in this rapidly changing world.

And it starts right here. With me. With each individual. With the help of young eager minds; with older, wiser humans who have seen it all before–with all of us… we really do have the power to make a difference. We are all here together, in this seemingly chaotic moment in history, for change to occur in a big way.

So above all, my ultimate goal is to be someone who inspires others to see the best in themselves, to figure out how we can all collectively share our gifts with the world. I want to be, someone who works through it alongside my fellow humans, uplifting the vibration, holding the promise of a better tomorrow, and ultimately leaving this world better than we found it. That is success in my eyes.
